Meet the Author

I was born in a small city just a hop, skip, and a jump from Niagara Falls, New York, in a community steeped in strong Irish roots. My path later took me south to Nashville for high school and then to Memphis for college, where I graduated with a B.A. in English Literature, alongside minors in History and Cultural Anthropology—always with the ultimate goal of writing and teaching.

Today, I live at the base of the Franklin Mountains in El Paso, Texas, alongside my cat, Indy. From here, I’m treated to stunning panoramic views spanning El Paso, New Mexico, and Mexico. When I’m not at my desk writing, you’ll usually find me indulging my inner trivia fiend or hitting the road. I travel frequently to Mount Charleston, Nevada, and Durango, Colorado, constantly drawn to exploring new vistas and soaking in the rich, vibrant cultures of the American Southwest.
